Summary

Neway are seeking a Contract Manager (Operations) to join our client based with Southern Housing

Location: Fleet House, 59–61 Clerkenwell Road, London, EC1M 5NW
Rate: £27.95 PAYE / £36.59 Umbrella per hour
Contract: Initially for 6 months, likely to be extended | 35 hrs per week
Start: 01 June 2026

About the Role
Southern Housing is seeking an experienced Contract Manager (Operations) to support commercial and operational delivery across their property services function. This interim role requires a specialist with strong contract management expertise, capable of ensuring high‑quality service performance, compliance, and value for money across operational contracts.

You will work closely with internal teams, contractors, and senior stakeholders to maintain service standards, resolve performance issues, and drive continuous improvement across operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee operational contracts, ensuring compliance, performance, and value for money.

Monitor contractor performance, KPIs, and service delivery standards.

Lead on contract reviews, performance meetings, and issue resolution.

Support commercial governance, risk management, and reporting.

Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Contribute to operational improvements and best‑practice processes.

About You
You will bring:

Strong operational contract management experience within housing, property services, or a similar environment.

Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

Ability to analyse performance data and drive service improvements.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Confidence working in a hybrid environment with autonomy and accountability.
