Summary
The ACP role is underpinned by masters level study and encompasses the four pillars of clinical practice, leadership, management, education and research, with demonstration of core capabilities and specialty specific clinical competence. The ACP will be an independent prescriber, having completed a recognised independent prescribing qualification, including annotation with their professional regulatory body and works within their scope of practice and relevant legislative authority.
