Summary

Administrative Officer - Wakefield
£12.86 per hour, rising to £13.25 after 12 weeks
Temporary, Full-Time (37 hours/week, Monday to Friday)

What you'll be doing:
As an Administrative Officer, you'll support the smooth running of courts and tribunals, ensuring cases progress efficiently and clients receive excellent service. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing case files, court documents, and legal paperwork
* Assisting with hearings, including clerking and administrative support
* Handling enquiries via face-to-face, phone, and written communication
* Drafting correspondence, reports, and standard notices
* Organising meetings, booking rooms, and preparing materials
* Processing casework, legal documents, and financial records accurately
* Scheduling hearings, issuing notices, and processing warrants
* Contributing to team meetings and improvement initiatives

You may also assist in clerking courtrooms by supporting judges, managing courtroom flow, and preparing case papers to ensure hearings run smoothly.

* Strong communication, organisational, and customer service skills
* Ability to manage workload effectively and use initiative within established processes
