Summary
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrician
Location: Hayes – Middlesex
Salary & Benefits
£40,000 – £45,000 per annum
Overtime paid at time and a half

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join a forward-thinking and innovative organisation operating at the forefront of smart city and street infrastructure.
Based out of a modern manufacturing and technology centre in Hayes, Middlesex, you’ll play a key role in installing, maintaining, and inspecting street furniture and digital signage assets across Greater London.
You’ll be trusted to manage your own workload, working independently on-site while remaining part of a supportive and highly skilled team. This role offers real scope for progression and skill development in a growing industry.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical installations for new street furniture
Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and reactive maintenance
Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
Issue minor works and installation certificates
Work in line with NICEIC standards and regulations
Safely operate tools and machinery
Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship
Promote and adhere to safe working practices

Strong communication skills (including basic reporting/photos/forms)
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
High attention to detail and pride in quality work
Team-oriented mindset with a professional attitude

Essential Qualifications & Experience required for the Electrician
City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
2391-52 (or equivalent) Inspection & Testing qualification or 714 Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (Public Lighting)
Safe Isolation (214) certification
Working near DNO/IDNO equipment (G39 / 210)
Desirable (Not Essential)
NRSWA / Streetworks (Signage, lighting & guarding)
Temporary Traffic Management certification
Emergency First Aid at Work
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
Additional Requirements
Full, clean UK driving licence
Aged 25 or over (insurance purposes)
