We are looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Quarrington team. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who value independence and are looking to maximise their earnings through consistent overtime in a stable, essential industry.
What you’ll be doing
Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently for waste collection and delivery
Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly to maintain our high safety standards
Maintaining accurate digital tachograph records in full compliance with WTD regulations
Providing a professional and helpful service at all collection and delivery points
Supporting the wider transport and depot team at our Quarrington site
What we’re looking for
Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
Proven experience driving Class 1 vehicles (waste sector experience is a plus)
A reliable, professional approach with a strong focus on safety
Good communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude
Flexibility for early starts (typically between 05:00 and 06:00)
What you’ll get
£14.50 per hour basic rate
High earning potential with up to 20 hours of overtime available weekly
Overtime (over 40 hours): Weekdays and Saturdays at x1.5, Bank Holidays at x2
