Summary
Mulberry Bush Day Nursery is a full day care setting, open from 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday, 51 weeks a year. Mulberry Bush is a popular nursery with an excellent reputation for high quality care and education and a genuine commitment to working in partnership with families.
This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in childcare, working in a friendly and supportive full day care nursery. You will work with children aged from birth to five years gaining paid, employed experience while you learn.
As an apprentice you will be working alongside experienced practitioners while studying towards your Early Years Qualification. You will have hands on experience to develop your skills whilst also having support from the management team in completing the written work as part of the qualification.
You will have shifts allocated each month, based around your learning, therefore you will need to be available Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm. You are likely to be working on site 32-36hrs per week.
We can support all ages through an apprenticeship qualification, and the starting hourly rate will depend on age and experience. Your hourly rate will increase as you progress through the qualification and complete the work allocated to you.
If you are passionate about working with children and creating a positive learning environment, we would love to hear from you.
You are welcome to telephone or email for more information. Visits are also welcome - just get in touch.
Please contact us at mulbarton@mulberrybush.org or 01508 570100 to find out more and discuss how to apply or to arrange a visit.
Mulberry Bush is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Applicants must be prepared to disclose any convictions they may have and any orders which have been made against them.
