Summary

***HGV CONTAINER DRIVER WANTED***

Here at The Best Connection we are looking for a HGV Container driver to join our client at Southampton.
This is an ongoing role, with potential to go full time with a contract.

Salary - £17.00/£34.00 per hour

Location - Southampton

Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday

Start Time - NIGHT PM SHIFTS


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

- Delivering and collecting containers from the dock

- Entering and exiting the docks

- Night trunking up to the midlands

- No hand-balling involved

- Vehicle checks, making sure the containers are secured

- Reporting any issues to the night manager

- Start time differ depending on route/run


WHAT IS REQUIRED/BENEFITS:

- Full UK Class 1 licence

- CPC & DIGI required

- Valid DP World Card

- Container experience is essential

- Must have been in and out of the docks

- Good communication skills

- Good numeracy and literacy skills

- On-site parking

- Ongoing work, with overtime on weekends
