Summary
A Vacancy at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the HPB team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW NHS Trust) as a specialty doctor in robotic surgery.
This role is suitable for a senior trainee or post CCT fellow.
Main duties of the job include:
• Day to day care of complex HPB inpatients.
• To be part of the acute General Surgical On-call, commensurate with experience.
• Support in theatre for surgery of complex HPB cases.
• Independently operate (STU) to support the ‘Hot Gall bladder’ service.
• Attend MDTs regularly.
• Support outpatient activity of the unit (independent clinic).
• Perform audit of overall activity of the unit.
• Be able to do Consultant on-call (under supervision) if required to cover sickness.
