Catering AssistantScale 1 pt 3 (FTE £24,796) Actual salary - £12,386.4021.25 hours per week (9.50am - 2.05pm five days per week) Part Time, Term Time only 39 weeksStart Date - As soon as possible The Joseph Whitaker School is a successful over-subscribed 11-18 school, in Rainworth, a village just outside of Mansfield. It serves the three local villages of Blidworth, Rainworth and Ravenshead and has around 1360 students.The Governors are seeking to appoint two Catering Assistants who are good team players to work with the Catering Manager and Catering Team. The job involves general food preparation, serving meals, washing up, cleaning duties and the manual handling of tables and chairs. You will need to understand the importance of health and hygiene and have a positive attitude to work in a fast-paced working environment.We have very high expectations of our students and staff and offer excellent training and professional development opportunities.
