Summary

This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of GEM Partnership who are currently trading as a recruitment and training business, our client Is looking for a number of Production Operatives to work part of an assembly line and work on individual production jobs from start to finish. Production Operatives are involved in the assembly and creation of a specialised products and responsible for upholding quality and safety standards during the process.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Producing high quality products according to company standards and JWIs
• Working as a member of various workstations along an assembly process
• Operate production line equipment
• Assemble goods on a production line
• Carry out basic testing and quality checks
• Build up components and sub-assemblies into finished electrical or mechanical products
• Cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and machinery
• Report on defective products or machinery
• Ensures all production, planned manufacturing deadlines and efficiency targets are achieved
• Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations and handling of materials in the factory

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Soldering experience (desirable)
• Spot welding experience (desirable)
• Ultra-sonic welding experience (desirable)
• Being able to follow job work instructions
• Able to work to within tight cycles/deadlines and with minimum supervision
• Ability to work in fast paced production environment
• Able to work as part of a team and independently
• Punctual and good time & attendance record
• Knowledge and understanding of 5S

Pay Rates and Times
£12.71
Monday to Friday - 06:00am – 02:00pm

Start date for this role will be 27/04/2026
