Summary

Level 3 Early Years Practitioner – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately


These flexible opportunities are ideal for Level 3 Early Years Practitioners who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different early years settings. You will be supporting young children in Didcot and the surrounding areas, helping to create safe, nurturing, and stimulating environments where children can learn and thrive.

Duties as Level 3 Early Years Practitioner:

  • Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Provide high-quality care, learning, and supervision for children aged 0–5
  • Promote children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
  • Observe, assess, and contribute to children’s learning records
  • Create safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments
  • Support children with personal care needs when required
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support daily routines and setting expectations
  • Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote children’s welfare at all times

Ideal Level 3 Early Years Practitioner:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • Caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Adaptable across different settings and age groups
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
