We’re looking for a creative, detail‑oriented and solutions‑focused Product and Learning Technologist who thrives on designing high‑quality digital learning experiences. You will use learning technologies and instructional design to turn complex content into engaging, accessible learning experiences.
You will play a key role in supporting AAT’s charitable purpose, helping ensure our learning products and services are relevant, innovative and deliver meaningful value for our learners, members and partners.
What exactly will you be doing?
As a Product and Learning Technologist, you will be part of the Product Development and Delivery team, working closely with Product Developers, Product Managers and subject matter experts. You will collaborate on the development of engaging education and learning products, applying instructional design best practice and making effective use of multimedia and learning technologies. You will ensure products meet agreed specifications, timelines and budgets. You will also act as a centre of expertise for learning technologies, supporting continuous improvement across AAT’s product portfolio and contributing ideas for technical solutions for new and innovative product concepts.
Major objectives
Your major objectives will include:
Design and develop high‑quality, engaging education and learning products and services.
Apply instructional design best practice to create effective, learner‑centred experiences.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure products meet audience needs and expectations.
Create and manage multimedia content, including video, audio and interactive learning assets.
Manage development schedules and contribute to the delivery of products on time and within budget.
Review and update products to ensure accuracy, relevance and continuous improvement.
Act as a subject matter expert in learning technologies and digital learning design.
Identify and test new learning technologies and ways of working to enhance customer value.
What are we looking for?
Proven experience in designing and developing e‑learning or digital learning resources.
Strong knowledge of learning technologies and instructional design principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong planning, organisation and project management capabilities.
Creative problem‑solving skills and a solutions‑focused mindset.
Technical confidence, including understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams while taking ownership of your work.
A strong customer and learner focus, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
