Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Driver to support our transport operations. This role involves assisting our current driver with daily deliveries and collections, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently.
Main Duties:
* Carry out deliveries and collections in line with daily schedules
* Ensure all loads are secured safely and comply with transport regulations
* Complete daily vehicle checks and report any faults or issues
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records
* Follow all road safety and company procedures
* Provide a professional and courteous service to customers
Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday, approximately 7:00am to 1:00/2:00pm (may vary during busier periods)
Skills and Experience:
* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Valid Driver CPC qualification
* Digital Tachograph Card
* Good understanding of UK road transport laws and safety standards
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
