Summary

Insurance Officer
Hybrid
Competitive Salary + Bonus + Car Allowance

A global organisation is looking to appoint an Insurance Officer to support the day-to-day management of its Group insurance programme. This is a varied, non-broking role offering exposure across multiple lines of cover and the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
This role is ideal for someone currently in broking, claims, or underwriting who is looking to move in-house and gain broader, more commercial exposure.

The Role
You’ll play a key role in managing internal insurance operations, supporting policy administration, coordinating claims, and ensuring accurate reporting. Acting as a central point of contact, you’ll work across the business as well as with external brokers and insurers.

Key Responsibilities

- Support administration of Group insurance policies across multiple lines (liability, property, motor, D&O, etc.)
- Maintain accurate policy records, schedules, and insurance registers
- Assist with renewals, including data gathering and broker submissions
- Coordinate claims end-to-end, liaising with stakeholders, insurers, and loss adjusters
- Track claims data and support reporting and trend analysis
- Provide guidance to internal teams on claims processes and incident reporting
- Support broker and insurer relationships, including audits and site visits
- Ensure compliance with internal governance and support audit requirements

About You

- Experience within insurance, claims, broking, or underwriting
- Strong understanding of insurance fundamentals and claims processes
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with internal stakeholders
- Strong Excel and data handling capability

Desirable

- Experience within a corporate or multinational environment
- Exposure to global insurance programmes
- Working towards (or interested in) ACII or similar qualifications

Why Consider This Role

A genuine opportunity to move in-house, offering broader exposure than a typical market-facing role. You’ll gain visibility across the full insurance programme while working closely with internal teams including Legal, Finance, and Operations—ideal for someone looking to develop a more strategic, commercially focused career.
