Summary
Shift Supervisor – 4 on 4 off (DAYS ONLY) – London Liverpool Street – £50,000 per annum
CBW are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join a prestigious client within a premium, modern commercial office environment.
The successful candidate will oversee all maintenance activities, ensure full compliance with health and safety standards, and lead a team of two engineers to deliver a high-quality service across multiple sites. Additionally, the role requires participation in a call-out rota (1 in 6 weeks), providing out-of-hours support, responding to emergencies, and ensuring service continuity outside of normal working hours.
Hours of Work
- 4 on 4 off (Days Only)
Key Responsibilities
- Daily checks, planned and reactive maintenance of building services systems
- Issue Permits to work
- Weekly/monthly reports
- Attending client meetings
- First response to mechanical or electrical system faults across the site
- Overseeing HVAC, lighting, and general building services infrastructure
- Supporting wider facilities operations and escalating issues where required
- Coordinating with the mobile support team and specialist contractors
- Maintaining system logs, completing PPM tasks, and ensuring close-out of all work orders
About You
- Electrically or mechanically qualified (City & Guilds Level 2 & 3) or equivalent
- Proactive, organised, and able to problem-solve effectively
- Comfortable working with automated systems and modern building technology
- Calm, professional, and confident when dealing with clients and end users
- Flexible and willing to support emergencies when required (rare and fully supported)
