Summary

Relief Support Worker

Locations: Rawtenstall & Bury
Calling all compassionate, caring and dedicated individuals!
Mencap is looking for passionate Relief Support Workers to join our welcoming teams in Rawtenstall and Bury.

As a Relief Support Worker, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day. You’ll support people with learning disabilities, working with a diverse group of individuals — each with their own personalities, strengths and support needs.
From helping with everyday activities to offering emotional support and encouragement, you’ll play a vital role in supporting people to live fulfilling and independent lives.

What we’re looking for
We’d love to hear from you if you have:

- A genuine passion for supporting others
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive, meaningful relationships
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
- A positive, empathetic and person-centred approach when supporting individuals with learning disabilities


Contract option

- Relief contract: Flexible hours based on your availability


Shift patterns
All our services provide 24-hour care.

- Day shifts: Between 07:00 – 10:00
- Sleep-ins: 10:00 – 07:00
