Summary

Vehicle Technician
Location: Corby
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 basic, £45,000 OTE (Uncapped)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 5:30pm with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join our clients workshop based in Corby. They are part of a renowned family run company with a fantastic reputation for progression and staff retention.

This position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Vehicle Technician responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques


Vehicle Technician requirements:

- You will ideally hold Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance, however this is not essential
- At minimum you must hold Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and have two years of fulltime professional experience
- Applicants must have a full UK driving license
