Shireland CBSO Academy is part of the Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust providing staff with opportunities to progress both within the school, and across the Trust.
Shireland CBSO Academy, opened in September 2023, is a unique institution established in partnership with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. As the country’s first state school to open in partnership with an arts organisation, our academy offers an ambitious, creative and inclusive environment where every student’s potential is nurtured and celebrated.
The successful candidate will:
• Have the ability to teach Science and motivate students across all ability ranges and key stages
• An outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations
• Able to inspire and enthuse students
• Committed to raising standards for all
