Here's the exciting
bit… A day includes:
- Communicating with all required departments and support functions to ensure a smooth and timely operation
- Working with Transport Planning to find solutions where required
- Scheduling drivers and mates into the transport schedule ensuring legal rest breaks are adhered to at all times
- Communicating with drivers and mates to ensure start times are met
- Maintaining and updating driver and mate capability planners and forecasting tools to ensure required cover is achieved
- Working with our driver provider to ensure the plan is covered

What you’ll need:
- Previous resource planning experience within a transport environment (essential)
- Knowledge and understanding of WTD and EU regulations
- Flexible approach to performing other duties within the transport operation as requested by your Line Manager
- Attention to detail
- Calm approach in a time pressured environment
- Excellent time and attendance record
- Intermediate experience of MS Excel and Word and Outlook
- Confident and outgoing personality to communicate with driver and mates
