Looking for a fulfilling role within a vital service? We are seeking a Switchboard Operator to join the team at Calderdale Royal Hospital.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring effective communication across the hospital, handling a high volume of calls and connecting both internal and external callers, including emergency enquiries, to the appropriate departments.
The Role
Answer internal and external calls within agreed KPI and SLA agreements
Provide efficient, courteous, and helpful support to callers
Operate internal bleep system
Reception duties as required
Required to work public and bank holidays, should your shift fall on that day as our department operates 24/7, 365 days a year
About You
Important to have good communication and clerical skills
Be reliable and able to work well as part of a team
Able to cope well under pressure
Previous experience would be preferred but not essential, full training will be given
