About UsThe Best Connection are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers on behalf of our client, a well-established and respected business within the recycling and materials sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
The RoleWe are seeking professional drivers with artic tipper experience who are willing to tramp out a minimum of 4 nights per week.
What You'll Be Doing- Driving modern bulker tipper vehicles (Scania, Volvo, DAF)
- Transporting materials between sites and customer locations
- Ensuring safe, timely deliveries
- Delivering a high standard of customer service
- Working independently while maintaining communication with the operations team
Pay & Hours - ANNUAL SALARY WHEN PERM : £42868 ( BASIC 45 HOURS )
- £18.32 per hour
- Minimum 45 hours guaranteed per week (typical 65-70 hours)
- Overtime paid after 45 hours at Time + ¼
- Saturday rate: Time + ¼
- £25 Night Out Allowance per night
- Temp-to-perm opportunity
- Full training provided (2-day induction + ongoing support)

- Minimum 2 years' experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- Must be 25 years or older
- Previous artic tipper experience preferred (training available)
- Flexible and willing to tramp (minimum 4 nights per week)
