Play Worker – Across Essex

Are you enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about working with children? We are currently seeking a dedicated Play Worker to join a friendly and supportive setting in Essex. Salary:
£13.69 per hour

Role & Responsibilities
As a Play Worker, you will:

  • Plan and deliver fun, inclusive, and age-appropriate activities
  • Supervise and engage children during play sessions
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment
  • Encourage creativity, teamwork, and positive behaviour
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ensure health and safety policies are followed at all times
  • Support children’s social and emotional development

    Requirements & Qualifications
    To be considered for this role, you should:

    • Have experience working with children (e.g. in schools, clubs, or childcare settings)
    • Be enthusiastic, patient, and approachable
    • Have strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Be reliable and flexible
    • Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check
    • A relevant childcare qualification is desirable but not essential
