What the role involves:
Supervising classes during teacher absences using pre-set work
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Ensuring pupils remain on task and complete assigned work
Providing support and guidance where necessary
Reporting back to teaching staff on pupil engagement and behaviour
Supporting the wider school team when required
What you’ll need:
Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
Confidence in managing classroom behaviour
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Good organisational skills and reliability
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
