We welcome applications from doctors with a passion for paediatrics, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering safe and high‑quality care to children and their families.

• Undertake initial assessment, examination, investigation, and management of acutely unwell paediatric patients, with senior support readily available.
• Participate in the evaluation and management of both acute and chronic conditions seen within general paediatrics.
• Support timely patient flow, including safe admission, treatment, review, and discharge processes.
• Perform clinical procedures appropriate to the level of training (e.g., cannulation, venepuncture, nasogastric tube insertion).
• Liaise effectively with nursing staff, ACPs, therapy teams, and senior medical colleagues to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide clerking and ongoing care for emergency admissions via PAU and the Paediatric ED pathway.

You will have the opportunity to deliver formal and informal teaching sessions either on wards or in our Health Academy; which has excellent facilities including a 24 hour library and a simulation suite.
