Summary
A happy and welcoming family based in Wimbledon are seeking a warm, organised, and energetic nanny to join them as soon as possible. The role is Monday to Friday, 11:00am–7:00pm, caring for three children aged 7, 9, and 11.
The ideal candidate will be nurturing, bubbly, and proactive, with a genuine love of working with children. Daily responsibilities will include school and after school club pick-ups (all children attend the same school in Battersea), supporting the children in the afternoons and with their evening routine, this includes supervising homework, reading with the younger children, and preparing healthy, family-friendly dinners.
In addition to childcare, the role involves light housekeeping duties such as tidying and organising family areas, family laundry and some ironing, when needed. Basic sewing skills would be a bonus, as occasional uniform repairs are often needed. Overall general household maintenance and mucking in as and when.
A confident driver is essential for this position, as there is a lot of driving involved, and a car will be provided for use during working hours. The family also have a friendly dog, so someone comfortable around pets is important.
There is the opportunity for additional hours during school holidays, making this a great role for someone looking for a long-term position with a supportive and easy-going family.
The salary on offer is £20–£25 gross per hour, approximately £41,600–£52,000 gross per annum.
