Summary
BadgerNet is a platform for the collection, storage and reporting of live perinatal patient data. The post holder will be trained in the use of BadgerNet and to be able to generate reports relating to data that is held within BadgerNet. The post holder will be expected to ensure all activity on the Neonatal Unit, post natal ward and Transitional Care wards are captured and that this is up to date on the BadgerNet system. The post holder will be expected to work on his/her own initiative in accordance with the departments requirements with the support of the nursing and medical team. The post holder will be responsible for achieving the expected standards of his/her own work. They will support the nursing and medical teams to ensure that data is collected and reported upon in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring the production of real-time data from admission, throughout the stay and to discharge. The post holder will assist in the efficient and comprehensive data collection for audit and research purposes, to meet the needs of the Neonatal Service in accordance with trust policy.
