Summary
Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across a variety of environments, including new build homes, offices, and commercial properties throughout Lincoln and Lincolnshire. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out cleaning duties in assigned areas such as offices, restrooms, kitchens, communal spaces, and new build homes
Perform pressure washing (external surfaces, driveways, patios, and building exteriors)
Complete void cleans and property clearances, ensuring properties are ready for handover or reoccupation
Assist with biohazard cleans where required (full training provided)
Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors to ensure a consistently clean environment
Clean windows, surfaces, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
Safely dispose of waste and removed items in line with health and safety regulations
Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors
Communicate effectively with clients to understand and meet their cleaning needs
Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times
Requirements & Experience
Previous cleaning experience in new build homes, commercial buildings, or void properties is desirable but not essential
Experience with pressure washing, clearance work, or specialist cleaning is an advantage
Willingness to undertake biohazard cleaning and trauma-related work (full training provided)
Good level of English for clear communication with team members and clients
Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A proactive and reliable approach to work
A valid driving licence is beneficial, as travel between sites may be required
