Summary
SEN Teacher
Location: Dudley, West Midlands
Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm
Long Term Futures are working with a well-supported primary school in Dudley to recruit an SEN Teacher for their resourced provision. The provision supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD and communication difficulties, with a strong focus on personalised learning, structure, and emotional development.
This role is ideal for a teacher with SEN experience or a strong interest in specialist education, looking to work in a nurturing, well-staffed environment. You will be supported by experienced teaching assistants and a leadership team committed to inclusive practice and high-quality SEN provision.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet EHCP targets
- Adapt the curriculum to suit individual learning needs
- Use structured approaches to support communication and behaviour
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants to deliver targeted interventions
- Monitor and track pupil progress against individual outcomes
- Create a safe, consistent, and nurturing learning environment
- Liaise with parents, SENCO, and external professionals
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Contribute to reviews and EHCP reporting
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with SEN pupils (ASD/complex needs desirable)
- Strong understanding of differentiated and personalised learning
- Confident behaviour management and a calm, patient approach
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
