The Opportunity:
Long Term Futures are seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher (German Speaking) to join a supportive secondary school in the Merton area from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to teach German across KS3 and KS4 within a forward-thinking languages department that values cultural awareness and strong academic outcomes. The school promotes a positive learning environment and encourages students to develop confidence in communication and global understanding.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging German lessons across KS3 & KS4
* Prepare students for GCSE German examinations
* Promote cultural awareness and enthusiasm for language learning
* Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress effectively
* Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
* Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in German or a related MFL subject
* Experience teaching German in a UK secondary school
* Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
* Passion for languages and student development
* Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
