Summary
This position is based in Boston and entails responsibility for operating market vehicles, including a van and box trailer. Key duties include:
Safely loading and unloading all equipment from the designated trailers used for storage and transportation.
Erecting and dismantling market gazebos and returning all equipment to the provided trailers at the conclusion of each market.
Ensuring the provision of a reliable, high-performing markets service.
Assisting with the setup and takedown of additional events, with overtime opportunities available.
The role is physically demanding and involves handling heavy-duty commercial gazebos, weights, sides, and traffic barriers. It requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Working hours are 5:30am – 8:00am on Wednesdays and Saturdays for market assembly and approximately 3:30pm – 6:00pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays for market disassembly.
Additional weekend or evening work may be available as overtime during special markets or events.
