Summary
To lead on setting the strategic framework for lead programme areas. The strategic framework will take a whole system approach, addressing the wider determinants of health, stimulating contributions from a wide range of partners and ensuring effective integration between prevention and wider programmes and services. To ensure the development and delivery of long term policies and strategies in order to deliver the achievement of targets and priorities directly or through the effective commissioning of public health services. Lead areas may change in line with business needs.
