Class Teacher – Temporary for 1 year (KS2)

Sheffield South East Trust is seeking passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic class teachers to join Wybourn Community Primary School, starting in September 2026.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop, plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
• Educate students in all areas of the curriculum, ensuring comprehension and retention of material.
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as necessary.
• Build relationships and employ effective behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
• Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues and other staff regarding all aspects of school life.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Experience
• Qualified Teacher Status is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds is essential for success in this role.
