Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the small, dedicated team at North Road Community Primary School as a Teaching Assistant and Lunch Break Supervisor. North Road Community Primary School is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to give support to our children, individually or in groups and to work with the class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of our children. You will be part of a dedicated and close working team who are committed to helping every child reach their full potential. As a member of our small school community, with an ethos of promoting a caring atmosphere for all children and encouraging a love of learning, the successful candidate will be working as part of a caring and enthusiastic team.
The role is part-time, 15.5 hours as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am – 12pm and Wednesday 8.30am-12pm, term-time only. The successful candidate will mainly be based in Key Stage Two.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a good standard of education (GCSEs - English and Maths C or above) or equivalent.
• Is a natural communicator with the ability to relate well to both children and adults with a high level of verbal and written communication standards.
• Has the ability to work collaboratively and constructively as part of a team.
• Has the ability to prioritise tasks on a day-to-day basis.
• Has experience of working with children.
Visits to the school are fully encouraged.
