Are you ready to get hands‑on in a fast‑paced, friendly environment? Moorland Kitchen at Exeter Airport is looking for a proactive
and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our close‑knit Summer Team on a fixed‑term contract from April to October.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a busy airport kitchen while being part of a supportive and welcoming team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
* Support our chefs with food preparation and service
* Prepare grab‑and‑go items for busy airport passengers
* Keep the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly
* Take responsibility for pot washing and general cleaning duties
* Assist with stock rotation and accepting deliveries
* Work collaboratively with your teammates to ensure high standards at all times
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* A positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn
* Someone who enjoys working as part of a team
* A flexible approach and readiness to help wherever needed
* Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
HOURS, SHIFTS & REQUIREMENTS
* Fixed term contract: Now – October
* 40 hours per week (Summer Team role)
* Shifts may start as early as 02:30
* Due to the early starts and limited public transport, reliable personal transport is essential
