Summary
The Best Connection is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our well‑established logistics clients based in Riddings, Derbyshire. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit a Delivery & Collection Driver to join their expanding team.
This role is customer-facing and represents the business on a daily basis, so a professional attitude, excellent driving standards, and a customer‑focused approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Carrying out deliveries and collections in a professional and timely manner
- Completing between 20-30 deliveries per day
- Driving approximately 150-180 miles per day
- Using a handheld scanning device accurately
- Ensuring full compliance with driver and workplace regulations
- A flexible approach to work
- Strong attention to detail
- A clear understanding of compliance and safety requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience using scanning devices
- Monday to Friday
- Typical start times from 7am
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
- Enjoy driving and working independently
- A trial period will apply
- Pay: £13.00 per hour
- Temporary to Permanent position for the right candidate following a successful trial period.
