Summary
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems within Greenock NHS. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing techniques, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work within a team.
Responsibilities
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other specialised tools to complete tasks efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and building code.
• Will be on call for a week approx once every four weeks - standby charge will be paid (£198.00) and any call outs will be paid at overtime rates.
Qualifications
• Qualified plumber with experience in plumbing installation and maintenance (we may consider a fourth year plumbing apprentice - SNIPEF wage rates will apply).
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various NHS settings.
• We will arrange for Legionella courses / certification (if certification not currently held).
• Must hold a current driving licence as van will be provided.
