We're looking for a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) who will deliver essential electrical and mechanical maintenance across a high‑profile London estate, ensuring systems remain safe, reliable and fully operational at all times.
Role Responsibilities· Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and mechanical building services equipment.· Diagnose faults using technical manuals, drawings, and diagnostic tools to restore systems efficiently.· Support critical building systems including power distribution, lighting, motor controls, standby generators, and fire alarm/PA systems.· Conduct inspections, identify defects or warning indicators, and take corrective action to prevent system failures.· Work collaboratively within a balanced shift team to provide 24/7 coverage and maintain service continuity across the estate.
Required QualificationsApplicants must meet the following requirements for the role:
· City & Guilds Craft Certificate / ONC or equivalent technical qualification.· Recognised electrical apprenticeship.· IEE 18th Edition certification.· Minimum two years' post‑apprenticeship experience in a similar building services environment.· C&G 2391 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.· Strong understanding of building services systems and maintenance practices.· Ability to pass full intrusive security vetting (mandatory).
