Summary
Addlux Limited is a growing UK manufacturer of bespoke LED lighting solutions supplied to clients worldwide. Established in 2010, we design and manufacture innovative lighting products from our workshop near Bentley in Hampshire.
We are now looking to expand our production team with a reliable and motivated Production Technician (Electro-Mechanical).
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Full training will be provided.
You may be early in your career or have previous experience in production, engineering, or workshop environments.
️ Key responsibilities
- Electrical wiring and assembly (including soldering)
- Operating workshop machinery (cutting aluminium profiles and metal components)
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Stock control and inventory management
- General workshop and production support tasks
- Basic office/admin support when required
As you develop in the role, you will be given more responsibility and opportunities to take ownership of processes and improvements.
Training & development
You will work closely with the Managing Director and receive ongoing hands-on training in:
- product assembly techniques
- manufacturing processes
- quality control
- company systems and workflow
There is clear potential for progression as the business continues to grow.
What we are looking for
Essential
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to follow technical instructions and drawings
- Willingness to learn new skills and technologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Flexibility to support different production tasks
- Ability to drive and travel when required (deliveries/occasional site work)
Desirable
- Experience in a production, warehouse, or workshop environment
- Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge
- Experience using hand tools or machinery
- Familiarity with CAD software (not essential)
- Interest in engineering or technology
Working conditions
- Based at Blacknest Industrial Estate near Bentley (GU34 4PX)
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (1-hour lunch break)
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet production deadlines
- On-site role (no remote work)

Travel & eligibility
- Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Bentley, Hampshire or be willing to relocate
- Applicants should ideally live within a reasonable commuting distance
- Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
