Luma Education Recruitment is seeking a caring and experienced EYFS Nursery Practitioner to join a supportive nursery. You’ll plan and deliver engaging activities, support children’s learning and development, and nurture their social and emotional growth in a positive, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assistant with planning and delivering engaging activities for children within the nursery
• Support learning, social, emotional, and physical development in a safe, nurturing environment
• Observe and record progress to guide next steps
• Maintain a calm, inclusive setting and promote positive behaviour
Requirements:
• Level 2-3 childcare qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent)
• Experience working with children aged 0–6 years in a nursery or early years setting
• Knowledge of EYFS framework and child development principles
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with colleagues and parents
• Understanding of health, safety, and safeguarding practices in childcare
• Enhanced DBS (on Update Service) required prior to starting
