Job Title: Care Assistant

Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, dressing, and mobility, while maintaining dignity and independence
Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records using relevant IT systems
Assist with medication administration in line with established guidelines (where applicable)
Support with light household duties such as cleaning and meal preparation, as outlined in care plans
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure coordinated and consistent care
Accompany or transport clients to appointments or social outings when required
Requirements & Qualifications
Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential (full training will be provided)
Good command of English, both written and verbal
Basic IT skills for record-keeping and reporting
Valid driving licence is advantageous (for roles involving travel)
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Respect for diversity and commitment to person-centred care

Competitive hourly pay: £12.21 – £15.00 per hour
