Key Responsibilities:
Dual Leadership: Effectively manage time between administrative office duties and supporting staff/children within the rooms.
Specialist Roles: Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and SENCO, taking particular lead on these areas during afternoon sessions.
Curriculum Oversight: Help plan and implement creative activities based on Montessori and EYFS principles to meet each child’s individual needs.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure the setting consistently meets Ofsted, health & safety, and safeguarding regulations.
External Liaison: Build professional partnerships with parents, carers, and external local agencies.
Requirements:
Qualifications: Must hold a recognized Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher.
Experience: 3–4 years of experience in a Senior Nursery role (Room Leader or Third in Charge) is essential.
Track Record: Previous experience working within a "Good" or "Outstanding" Ofsted setting.
Skills: Expert knowledge of child development, strong team management skills, and a friendly, composed demeanor.
Compliance: An Enhanced DBS check is required for this DSL-level role.

Mornings: 07:30 – 13:30
Afternoons: 12:30 – 18:30
Supportive Environment: Benefit from a nursery that maintains extra staff beyond the legal requirements for better support.
Benefits:
Generous Leave: 20+ days holiday + Bank Holidays + your Birthday off!
Childcare Perks: Up to a massive 75% childcare discount.
Career Growth: Access to advanced training and clear pathways for professional development.
