Summary
Job Title: General Assistant
Job Purpose: To provide assistance ensuring smooth service across all departments in the hotel including bar, restaurant, housekeeping, reception and spa.
Daily Duties: To report to work on time, according to the rota provided.
To follow the procedures provided to ensure the cleanliness and operation of the department(s) is to the correct standard at all times.
To ensure that guest satisfaction is paramount at all times. Offer all customers and guests, polite, courteous and friendly service, and be prepared to go out of your way to help a customer – this includes having a general knowledge of all the facilities at the Hotel.
To act upon instructions given by the management team.
To assist in the bar and restaurant as required including delivery of food orders to tables and clear as required. Regularly checking lounge areas to clear any glasses & crockery etc.
Assist on reception with confident and efficient operation of tills / room billing and cash handling, ensuring all goods taken by the customer are billed for.
Assist guests with luggage, delivery of meals and drinks to guest rooms.
Assist housekeeping with linen deliveries and room cleaning in the event of a late arrival.
Any other reasonable tasks as requested by Management.
