Summary
Holt Engineering is on the lookout for a Senior Account Manager to join a UK-based electronics manufacturing business.
As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll act as the key interface between the business and its customers—ensuring projects run smoothly, deadlines are met, and relationships continue to grow.
You’ll be working cross-functionally with engineering, purchasing, and production teams, ensuring customer requirements are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.
This Senior Account Manager role is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per hour
Fridays are working from home
Paying £40,000-£45,000, depending on your experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with key customer accounts, including site visits where required
- Produce and maintain delivery and production plans aligned to customer demand
- Oversee repeat orders and contract reviews to ensure capacity, materials, and engineering requirements are met
- Work closely with Purchasing to ensure timely material availability
- Support engineering teams during peak periods, including BOM checks and MRP updates
- Expedite and resolve issues that may impact delivery or customer commitments
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and promote additional services
- Prepare and negotiate quotations with key customers
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve technical or operational challenges You
- Proven experience in Account Management or Customer Service within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Highly organised with excellent planning and prioritisation skills
- Confident in presenting data and building relationships with customers
- Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience within a CEM (Contract Electronics Manufacturing) environment
- Knowledge of electronics production processes
- Experience using MRP system's Apply?
