The Successful Candidate Will: • Deliver targeted wellbeing interventions, working with pupils both individually and in small groups to support emotional literacy and resilience. • Track and analyse pupil data, with support from the ALNCo, to monitor progress and inform support strategies. • Support children’s learning across the school, both in class and through intervention work, under the guidance of teaching staff/ALNco. • Be prepared to provide classroom support or emergency cover when required. • Assist with the planning and preparation of resources, including those for wellbeing and intervention sessions. • Demonstrate sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of pupils and actively promote inclusivity. • Contribute positively to the school’s anti-racism commitment and wider equality, diversity and inclusion agenda. • Work effectively as part of a team to support children’s emotional, social and academic development. • Communicate effectively with pupils, colleagues and families. • Be flexible, proactive and caring in their approach to supporting children. • Be willing to participate in school events and enrichment activities. • Have experience as an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA), which is desirable but not essential.
