Greenway and Trowbridge Primary Schools are situated in the East of Cardiff and are part of The Oaks Federation. The Headteacher and Governing Body of The Oaks Federation are looking for an excellent teaching assistant who is fully committed to children’s learning and wellbeing. The successful candidate will need to have high expectations of pupils with a wide range of abilities and experiences. They must want to fully embrace the opportunities of working alongside an enthusiastic, committed, and helpful team of staff. They will need to be able to support the team to enthuse and motivate learners to achieve their best.
The successful candidate will be:
• able to further inspire, maintain and enhance our positive Federation ethos
• someone with the personality, drive and desire to support all learners in an engaging and enjoyable way;
• Someone who cares for learners and able to work across the primary age range
• a motivational practitioner, who can work within a strong and committed team of teaching and associate staff
• able to explore and share ideas to enhance our Federation curriculum
• committed to equality of opportunities and inclusion for all;
• able to work closely with the Governing Body, parents and community partners
• digitally competent
• willing to collaborate across the Federation
• able to demonstrate how they maintain professional learning and willing to develop the use of the welsh language
• willing to work across the Federation, if requested.
