Location: Birmingham City Centre (Office-Based)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (37 hours per week)

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a proactive and organised Admin Officer to join a busy office-based team in Birmingham City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in administration or customer service who is looking to gain experience within a public sector environment.
This role offers a varied workload, combining administrative duties with customer interaction and case management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Managing email correspondence and responding to enquiries
- Providing high-quality customer service via phone and email
- Handling and progressing casework efficiently
- Managing your own caseload and prioritising tasks effectively
- Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties
About You
- Previous experience in administration and/or customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
- Comfortable working with data and maintaining attention to detail
- Confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office
- An interest in working within the public sector is highly desirable
- Previous casework experience is advantageous but not essential
