An energetic and cheeky 11‑year‑old boy with Zellweger syndrome is looking for a fun, reliable Personal Assistant to support him at home and out in the community.

He is sight and hearing impaired — he wears glasses and uses a cochlear implant — so someone patient, observant, and confident with communication support would be ideal.

He has a funny, playful personality and is full of energy. He loves:
- Cars
- Trips to the park
- Building activities
- Hands‑on sensory play, especially playdough
- And his iPad

The role includes:
- Supporting him and his mum on days out during half‑term and school holidays
- Engaging him in activities he enjoys
- Occasional housekeeping and light cooking to support mum with his care needs

This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys being active, creative, and supportive.

Duties include:
- Medication prompting/administering
- Personal grooming
- Eating and drinking assistance
- Moving and handling
- Administration
- Cooking
- Transportation
- Companionship
- Dressing / undressing
- Bathroom assistance
- The child is toilet trained but can have occasional accidents and also unable to walk unaided so experience with personal care, a wheelchair, a walking frame and some manual handling is needed.

Candidate qualities:

Additional requirements
- Non-smoker due to medical reasons
- Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
