Summary

Masstemps Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a client for a full-time Plant Operative to join a busy and expanding company based in the Birmingham area.

Responsibilities and duties include:

. Operate and monitor chrome plating tanks and associated equipment to ensure consistent coating quality
. Prepare components for plating, including cleaning, degreasing, masking, and rinsing
. Carry out electroplating processes in line with production specifications and safety standards
. Inspect finished products for thickness, adhesion, and visual defects to meet quality requirements
. Maintain accurate production records, including batch details and chemical usage
. Monitor and adjust chemical levels, temperature, and current settings within plating baths
. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on plant equipment
. Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including handling hazardous chemicals safely

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday

12:00pm – 20:00pm

Pay Rate

£12.71ph
