Summary
Masstemps Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a client for a full-time Tree Surgeon to join a busy and expanding company based in the Walsall area.
Responsibilities and duties include:
• Carrying out a range of arboricultural work including tree felling, pruning, crown reduction, crown lifting, and thinning
• Climbing trees safely using rope access techniques and/or operating MEWPs (where required)
• Using chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other specialist arborist equipment safely and effectively
• Assessing tree condition and identifying hazards, disease, decay, or structural weakness
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations and industry best practice (e.g., LOLER and PUWER compliance)
• Working as part of a team to complete domestic and commercial landscaping and tree care projects
• Safely dismantling trees in confined or hazardous environments when required
• Processing and removing green waste and ensuring sites are left clean and tidy
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition
• Supporting general landscaping duties when required
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday
07:30am – 16:30pm
Pay Rate
£13.50ph
