We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Tramping Driver for a well‑established client based in Accrington. This is a 16‑week temp‑to‑perm opportunity, offering long‑term stability and the chance to secure a full‑time permanent position at the end of the assignment.
Working Pattern- Tramping - nights out Monday to Thursday
- Routes planned in advance
- Immediate start available, subject to assessment and compliance checks
- £14.00 per hour (flat rate)
- £26.20 per night out
- Regular, consistent work each week
- Nationwide trunking and delivery work
- Typical destinations include Swansea, Andover, and Redditch, depending on the planned route
- Well‑maintained vehicles
- Professional transport operation with planned routes and support
- Driver supplied on a 16‑week temp‑to‑perm basis
- Opportunity to transition into a full‑time permanent role with the client upon successful completion of the assignment
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph legislation
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable with tramping work
